The Carrot C-MX ECU is a programmable ecu that you can fully set for your specific engine using the Carrot C-MX Management software. For communication between the laptop/pc and the Carrot ECU, you need the Carrot Communication Interface MX.

The safest and most efficient way to adjust the engine and ECU is on a test stand or roller bench. Here you can search for the limits of the mechanical possibilities under conditioned circumstances.

In addition, there are a number of products that can serve as an aid for tuning. There is the Carrot UEGO controller that can be used to measure the fuel mixture in the exhaust. This is mainly used for 4-stroke engines to learn the injection map.

There is also a Carrot CAN-EGT adapter, with which you can measure the exhaust gas temperature. This is mainly used for 2-stroke engines to keep an eye on the safety margin.
