Why do you need to tune the ECU on a dyno?

It is not necessary to tune an ecu on a dyno. You can also do this on the street or circuit, but this is a lot more difficult and less accurate. On a dyno you have a controlled environment where the measurements are very accurate. In addition, a dyno offers the possibility to hold a certain engine loads for a longer period of time, which allows you to adjust more effectively.

To get the most out of the Carrot ECU, it will need to be finetuned according to engine setup, exhaust, rider preference, etc. Therefore, it is highly recommended to always have a Carrot Communication Interface, so that settings can be changed in the ECU using the Carrot Management Software.
